    These oats are the real deal. I go to bed at night feeling excited for my morning bowl of freshly cooked oats. I also love that I can buy directly from the people who grew them! I’ll be ordering again when I’m close to running out, that’s for sure!

I do have to confess though, we don’t actually grow the oats – I wish it was our oats in the packet but we actually buy these oats grown by other Australian farmers. We roll them, cut them and package them with a whole lot of love though. Kx

    These oats are amazingly creamy, yet they’re still solid enough that there’s loads of body within each spoonful. I keep my oats simple and cook them in water with a pinch of salt, then when in my bowl I add a little milk and a sprinkle of sugar. I’ve also made some beautiful fresh muesli with these oats also.

    I bought the 5 pack as wanted to share with my mother, when she ran out she was disappointed to go back to the processed taste of store bought oats.

    We bought a 5kg mixed pack (3 rolled oats, 2 groats). A month later we’re back buying more. Delicious! I don’t like to cook the oats, just add milk and eat – these are delicious that way. Groats were something we’d never tried before but we’re converts. Great instead of rice or in salads.

    I love the taste of Brushwood oats (rolled, steel cuts, groats) in general. They taste different than the one from the supermarket. It’s creamy and chewy! I also found the groats to be the best one I enjoy most. Cook them in the pressure cooker or on stove. Add cinnamon and nutmeg, berries and mango or banana, sprinkle some brown sugar on top, milk if you like. Yummy breakfast!

    I have eaten oats nearly every morning for many years and when I tried your Oats I was instantly taken back to my childhood oats memories of how they should be! I also tried your Steel Cut which are exceptional! ( These are now my weekend treat – starting the day with a slow cooked version to enjoy without rush)
    Groats! Never heard of them- but have added instead of pasta or rice in dishes and i LOVE the texture- so light and filling.

    These are, hands down, the best oats I have ever tasted. I’ve tried both the rolled and steel cut oats and they both make a really luscious and creamy porridge with a lovely sweet and earthy flavour. They truly make breakfast something to look forward to. We keep meaning to use them in our baking, but we usually eat them up before we get a chance! We deliberately bought extra this time to use on our winter crumbles and Anzac bikkies!!!

    I’m also looking forward to trying the groats for the first time (ever) and seeing what I can do with them.

The porridge oats are absolutely delicious and I have made some amazing salads with the groats. I haven’t tried the steel cut oats but imagine they will be just as good.     Wow these are good wholesome oats.Surprisingly creamy considering they are cooked with water.I have them with a sprinkle of brown sugar & milk.
