A lavish and decadent winter breakfast porridge that is so good it is almost a desert style breakfast - almost like a carrot cake in a bowl. Perfect for an indulgent Sunday morning winter breakfast treat, but still super healthy!!

Servings: 2 small serves
Ingredients
- 1 tablespoon each of grated carrot and grated apple
- 1 tablespoon of sultanas
- 2 tablespoons pecan nuts
- 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon
- 1 tablespoon Brushwoods Extra Virgin Olive Oil
- 1 1/2 cup water
- 3/4 cup Brushwoods Fresh Rolled Oats
Optional serving ingredients
- raw sugar and maple syrup
Instructions

Place all ingredients into a small saucepan and cook on low stirring until cooked to the consistency you like.

Place into serving bowl once cooked and top with 1/4 teaspoon raw sugar and a drizzle of maple syrup and a few pecan nuts to serve. Omit the raw sugar and maple syrup if you have less of a sweet tooth.

Makes two small portions or one giant serve depending on how hungry you are (or how unwilling you are to share).
